These are 40MB/s cards unless you get the 128GB or 256GB, which are 60MB/s cards (write speed). At first I was excited to find such an inexpensive option that is capable of 90MB/s write speed. But then after reading the first part of the product description I discovered that these are only capable of up to 60MB/s write speed. Well, 60MB/s is still great at this price point so I ordered two!

Very speedy card, but not at all times Intro note: You probably don’t need this card if you’re just an amateur/casual photographer or if you need it for a handheld device, such as a Nintendo 3DS. I would just get something cheaper.

Great value. Upgraded 90MB/s READ speed, Write speeds: 32GB ~49MB/s, 128GB ~78MB/s. SanDisk has a number of cards labeled Extreme. The Extreme 90MB/s line is replacing both the Extreme 60MB/s (16,32,64GB) and Extreme 80MB/s (128GB, 256GB). This review compares the 32GB Extreme 60MB/s, 128GB Extreme 80MB/s and the new 32GB & 128GB Extreme 90MB/s.
