Full E-TTL for a great price!! I am highly impressed with this flash so far. I own a Canon 580II but wanted a flash for second body and something that would provide some decent functionality but I didn’t want to spend $250 for the Canon 430II. This Neewer NW-670 appears to be the answer at an unbelievable price too, just $49! I’ve shot a couple hundred pics with the flash on both my 7D and 1DS mk III and the results are pretty amazing. The build quality is fairly solid as well. Here is a better breakdown of the…

GREAT PRODUCT, AWFUL MANUAL make no mistake this flash is amazing, in fact exceptional for its price. it loses one star because the manual is so awfully written, and it loses another star cause there is a mode known as “stroboflash” in it which as because the manual is so badly written with quite a considerable amount of typos. i don’t even understand what its used for, but from experience i can think its very similar to high speed sync. if not for these two filmsy problems i would award this 5 stars tops. the…

The flash worked great for me when using as an on camera flash The flash worked great for me when using as an on camera flash. I however needed it for off camera work and since this particular unit goes to sleep with no way of turning the sleep function off, i found myself shooting, then it falls a sleep then I have to hit the button to wake it back up. It was okay for a session but for a multi light set up at a reception it is best to use this ON camera and your other flashes be off camera.
