So despite its obvious flaws it was an good option for a second body — or for a … I’ve read a lot of reviews that say basically “Canon contented itself with just a few minor tweaks on the flawed M version.” I think that might understate the impact of the changes they made. The original M was attractive to me because it can use Canon’s lenses. So despite its obvious flaws it was an good option for a second body — or for a camera with a little less bulk. It’s missing a little bit in controls, but it took superb photos.

canon eos m2 Have had this camera for a couple of weeks now. I have to say that I really like it. I like the small size of the camera, it makes it very easy to carry. I use the canon adapter on it and use all of my canon ef lenses. So far I have experienced no problems. I find that the camera is far less intimidating than my canon 70d with battery pack. I love this camera I love this camera! Great build, great quality files and full features similar to DSLR. I actually sold my EOS 6D and switched to this smaller format. Using the fixed lens @ f/11, the images are razor sharp and look amazing printed up to 16×16″ @ 216 PPI as pigment inkjet on watercolor paper.Highly recommend this for anyone with small hands and high standards. There’s not comparison between this camera and the Sony A6000, which feels like a plastic toy.
