if you bought the sony a6000 with the 16-50mm kit lens, you need this. for some reason, sony decided that if you bought the a6000 with the 16-50mm kit lens, they’d attach it in the box and you wouldn’t need lens caps when you removed the lens from the camera body.craziness.these fit the base of the lens and camera body perfectly, am happy to have this sony oversight rectified for under $10.(if you happened to buy the kit with 2 lenses, both are packed in their own box with both lens caps and the body has a cap as well.)
Protect your sensor and camera – without have to keep a lens mounted. Perfect fit. I bought this to use with my Sony A6000. The Sony A6000 does not come with this in the box – this is very helpful if you, like me, are constantly changing lenses and don’t want to end up with dust on the sensor – which is a pain to clean. I use this and the fit is perfect and keeps dust and debris off the sensor in any condition.
Fit perfectly Fit my Canon EOS T5i and my lenses perfectly. Since losing the cap on my T5i I’ve had to always keep a lens in place. This is a purchase I should have made a long time ago.
